Meet the RL35R, a headlamp you can control with your voice. No more fumbling with dirty or busy hands: just use one of 15 simple voice commands to change your beam and color.
The RL35R gives you LED and warm white light, plus red, blue and green. A dual-fixed beam system lets you switch between flood and spot, and our ARC280 area lighting system, a first for a COAST headlamp, lights up the space beside you in warm white or red for better side-to-side vision.
"This was an exciting light to design because it can be so diverse for the user. They can choose between the easy voice-controlled option, or hands-on application," said Brian Sheehy, Product Developer at COAST. "We've tested it in many ways, and it's worked over video calls or crowded events. It's also extremely fun to use."
Variable Light Control™ lets you adjust brightness with a simple turn of the dial, from 12 lumens all the way up to 1,100, with a beam that reaches anywhere from 4 to 170 meters.
The battery pack sits at the back on our reflective, breathable Ultra-Strap™ and has its own controls. Prefer to wear it elsewhere? Use the included extension cable to clip the battery pack to your clothes or bag. It also has a battery indicator and a solid or flashing red safety light.
