COAST warranties its COAST knives, tools, COAST LED Flashlights/Headlamps and ZITHION-X AA/AAA Batteries to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor damage resulting from misuse or neglect. Warranty does not cover batteries and charging accessories (or damage caused by either). Non-ZXAA or ZXAAA Batteries or damage caused by batteries (i.e. leakage) is not included in the guarantee.

One COAST ZITHION-X® rechargeable AA battery replaces up to 1,000 single-use batteries—cutting waste, saving money, and delivering reliable power with every charge. With proprietary ZX Optimized Voltage™ technology, each battery delivers steady, device-safe output that mimics the performance profile of alkaline batteries—ensuring long-lasting runtimes and seamless device compatibility while preventing flickering, overheating, or damage. 

The leak- and corrosion-resistant design adds extra protection during use, while fast USB-C charging makes powering up simple—no special cables or cradles needed. Average charge time: 2.5 hours for AA, 1.3 hours for AAA.
