"I am a firefighter and I have been using a xp11r as a helmet light for about a year. in that time it has seen multiple house fires where it has stood up to sustained temperatures of 500 to 600 degrees. Its been submerged in water and it feel off a roof on to concrete. the only damage it has recieved is the lens began distort due to high heat endured during the attempt to save 3 victims from a fully involved structure fire. bottom line is this light is brighter, more durable and last longer than specific fire service lights that cost 3 to 5 times what this light costs. the only thing that would make this better is if there were lens available to replace the one in this light."
