The innovative design of the EAL55R rechargeable lantern gives you multiple ways to control its high-powered lighting. At its max brightness of 3,000 lumens, this lantern truly takes over the dark. To give you control, the COAST Dual Zone Light system uses a specialized light-diffuser to supply either a full 360 degrees of light or 180 degrees of light with clean edges—your choice at the flip of the zone selector switch. Multiple light modes provide an option for every scenario from mountain campouts to sunsets at the beach. COAST Variable Light Control technology adds further adaptability. Use the dial on the lantern body to adjust the lumens-output up or down until it’s just right. Carry the EAL55R by the foldable handle like a traditional lantern or hang it by the integrated carabiner for overhead light. The COAST Rechargeable Plus system runs the light on an integrated ZITHION™ rechargeable battery, whose USB-C in/out port doubles as a charging source for other devices when you’re off the grid. For added convenience, there is a storage compartment in the base for your USB-C cord. Monitor remaining battery power with the battery life indicator and track recharging status with the charge indicator. The EAL55R can also run on a separately purchased ZITHION-X™ ZX915 rechargeable battery or six AA alkaline batteries. Constructed of top-grade materials, the EAL55R lantern is rated IP54 water-resistant and dust-resistant and backed by the COAST lifetime warranty.
